Mind & Body

Flow Yoga For All: A relaxing class that promotes stress reduction, flexibility, strength, and balance.

Yogalates: A Fusion of Yoga and Pilates aimed at stretching, strengthening and toning. This class will help you increase your flexibility and balance.

Cardio

Body Pump: BODYPUMP™ is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more. 

Cardio Line Dancing: A combination of social dancing and fitness while learning line-dancing routines set to R&B and hip-hop songs. Have fun burning calories while boosting your metabolism. All levels of dance are welcome!

Cardio Step: A great cardiovascular workout using an adjustable step platform! Easy to follow choreograph with motivating music that will get your heart pumping and keep you moving!

Fierce Interval Resistance Exercise (FIRE): Calorie toching cardio and resistance exercise using different equippment and your own body weight.

Kickboxing: Martial arts techniques combined with fast pace cardio!

Pound: A combination of cardio and weight training exercise approach that includes some of the rhymic techniques used in Pilates!

Sassy Tone Up: Full body workout for all levels.

Senior Ladies Fitness (55+): Sessions are designed to help older women (55+) maintain their cardiovascular health, strength, and flexibility!

Spin: Indoor Cycling focusing on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity, and recovery using a special stationary exercise bicycle.

Total Body Conditioning & Cardio: A focus on upper and lower body control incorporating weights, resistant bands, and body weight. Cardio portions include, running indoors & outdoor, step and stair climbing and bosu ball. Strengthen your heart, muscle mass, and lower your body fat!

Zumba: Workout that fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow dance moves to create a dynamic fitness program. The routines feature interval training sessions with fast and slower rhythms. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got Zumba!

Kids Club

 

Healthworks Community Fitness provides complimentary child care for our members children ages 6 months – 10 years old.  The Nursery is open Monday – Thursday 5pm-8pm and is staffed by an HCF staff member at all times.  There are a maximum of 15 children allowed in the nursery at a time.  A child’s stay must not exceed 1.5 hours.  We allow 7 reservations per evening and leave the remaining 8 slots open for walk ins.  To be sure your child will have a place in the nursery please call us by 4pm on the day you plan to attend the gym and reserve their spot.  (617) 825-2800.
